Why would he be looking forward to the fourth season of a Disney kids show you may ask? Well that's because Disney has casted the 35-year-old for a role in Big City Greens, who's fourth season is set to begin on September 23rd.
It's unclear at this time who Marchand will play on the show, whether it be himself or a character, but it appears that he'll become the first NHLer to make an appearance on the show.
Among the celebrities making guest appearances on the show this coming season are Grammy Award winner Michael Bolton, actor Tom Green and comedian Trevor Wallace.
The NHL is pretty familiar with the show Big City Greens. Back in March, the NHL, ESPN and Disney broadcasted a live animated version of a game between the New York Rangers and the Washington Capitals, which was dubbed 'NHL Big City Greens Classic.
For those who aren't familiar with the Disney show, Big City Greens is about Bill Green and his two children Cricket and Tilly who run a farm in the country town called Smalton.
The new season's guest cast was also announced and includes Michael Bolton, June Diane Raphael, Tom Green, Brad Marchand, Margo Martindale, Justin McElroy, Tim Meadows, Dean Norris, Ms. Pat, Tim Robinson, Paul Scheer, Amy Sedaris and Trevor Wallace. Disney Branded TV PR (@DisneyBrandTVPR) August 24, 2023
