Kuzmenko has found himself in the press box on several occasions this season and hasn't been able to replicate the success he had during his first National Hockey League season in 2022-23.
Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin could look to move Kuzmenko to give him a fresh start elsewhere, but with a cap hit of $5.5 million for 2024-25, it may be tough and it's possible that could reduce the amount of suitors for the Russian forward.
On Monday's edition of the 32 Thoughts podcast, Elliotte Friedman and Jeff Marek discussed Andrei Kuzmenko's situation with the Vancouver Canucks and mentioned a trio of teams that could be fits if they decide to move him.
The three teams that were brought up as potential fits were - the Chicago Blackhawks, Nashville Predators and New York Islanders.
Kuzmenko, 27, has taken a step back this season in terms of his production and hasn't played up to the level he did during the 2022-23 campaign, where he had 39 goals. In 43 games this season, the Yakutsk native has 21 points (eight goals, 13 assists), six penalty minutes and is a minus-one.
