Kuzmenko has found himself in the press box on a handful of occasions this season, including on the team's current road trip, but has recently returned to the lineup.
With his tough season thus far, Kuzmenko's named has been brought up in trade rumours in recent weeks and has been listed on both Sportsnet and TSN's trade bait lists. But for now, everyone may need to pump the breaks on the potential of Kuzmenko being moved.
While speaking with TSN's Pierre LeBrun, Andrei Kuzmenko's agent Dan Milstein explained that his client is happy in Vancouver and doesn't want to leave the Canucks organization.
Kuzmenko, 27, has one year remaining on his contract after the current campaign with a cap hit of $5.5 million per season and could be a hot commodity leading up to the deadline if the Canucks decide to move him.
In 36 games this season, Kuzmenko has put up 19 points (eight goals, 11 assists), two penalty minutes and has an even-rating. The Yakutsk native knows he can be better and if he can start putting the puck in the back of the net like he did last season, it could take some of the pressure off Patrik Allvin in his search for a top-six forward.
