Elias Pettersson Makes Explicit Comments on J.T. Miller Feud Before Storming Out of Post-Game Presser
Amid all of the media attention surrounding the alleged feud between Vancouver Canucks stars Elias Pettersson and J.T. Miller, EP40 has finally commented on the rift, and it's not good.
With the current slip in play, and the rift in the locker room, the holiday break cannot come soon enough for the Vancouver Canucks.
With their 5-4 overtime loss against the Ottawa Senators on Saturday, the Canucks have now only won 3 out of their last 10 games, also extending their losing streak to three games...
Elias Pettersson Walks out of post-game interview per questions of J.T. Miller feud
Following the loss to the Sens, Canucks star forward Elias Pettersson finally decided to address the media, and of course their questions were all about the rumored rift between him and teammate J.T. Miller.
Pettersson may have denied the so called "feud", but his body language, tonality and and choice of words clearly show that not all is well within the locker room.
"That's still going on?" Pettersson replied when asked about the potential friction. "Well, it's the same answer. It's good. I don't know why people still try and make (expletive) up."
A reporter decided to double down and follow up to get a clear answer, Pettersson was clearly frustrated and sick of the question that he just sighed and stormed out of the room.
A reporter followed up on the 26-year-old's answer by asking if the rumors had been distracting. To which Pettersson answered, "Oh my God. Next question," leaving the scrum quickly when there was nothing else asked.
Frustrated or not, it seems odd that Pettersson would react the way he did, especially after head coach Rick Tocchet and captain Quinn Highes basically confirmed there are issues between Miller and EP40 during the pre-game scuffle.
There are clear issues here, and Elias Pettersson only added fuel to the fire with this press appearance.
