Every single day a new piece of information adds fuel to the fire when it comes to the feuding stars of J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson, and if Miller decides to waive his no move clause to put an end to the rift, these 2 NHL clubs are the best suitors.

As a preface, this is all speculation at the moment, but it has already been confirmed that J.T. Miller has no intention in waiving his no-move clause as he wants to remain in Vancouver and win with the Canucks.

But if the drama between him and Pettersson continue, a trade may be the only option.

Just like NHL insider Elliotte Friedman already noted, if the right situation arises for Miller and the leg work is done by the Canucks, there is a real possibility of him moving on.

Friedman thinks JT Miller hasn't asked for a trade but he thinks JT would consider things if it were presented to him. But management has to got to him.

Top Trade Destinations for J.T. Miller

New York Rangers

The clear and easy answer would obviously be Miller electing to be moved to his former team the New York Rangers.

Even NHL insider Nick Kypreos believes that the Rangers are the sole team that Miller would waive his no-move clause for.

Per Kypreos, JT Miller, he believes, has one destination he would waive his NMC to make a trade happen and that is the New York Rangers.

He thinks the trade is JT Miller for Zibanejad (plus extra pieces around it) as the major pieces.

Columbus Blue Jackets

The Blue Jackets are an interesting destination for Miller as he grew up in East Palestine, Ohio watching the Blue Jackets as a kid.

The Blue Jackets have a lot of cap space to easily add Miller to their roster, and have two specific assets that make a lot of sense.

With the Canucks wanting an upgrade on defense, Ivan Provorov has already been linked to Vancouver in many trade rumors and could be a significant piece for them on the blue line, especially with Hronek and Quinn Hughes still out.

The deal would also incorporate former 5th overall pick of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, Kent Johnson, who looks like he is a future superstar in the league.

In 25 games for Columbus this season, he has 10 goals and 11 assists for 21 points.
