The Vancouver Canucks have announced a new partnership with a major beverage company starting this season.

One of the main things fans purchase from the concession stands at hockey games and other professional sporting events is beer, even though it can be pretty expensive, depending on the venue.

On Monday, the Vancouver Canucks and Canucks Sports & Entertainment have announced their new beer sponsor for events being held at Rogers Arena and in Abbotsford, starting with tomorrow's preseason game against the Seattle Kraken.

In a press release on their website, Canucks Sports & Entertainment announced that Molson Coors Beverage Company is the new beer sponsor at Rogers Arena and at Abbotsford Centre.

"We are proud to announce our partnership with Molson Coors as the official partner at Rogers Arena and Abbotsford Centre." said Michael Doyle, President, Canucks Sports & Entertainment, Business Operations. "This new partnership brings CSE together with the iconic Molson Coors family of beverages, including Molson Canadian, first brewed in 1959 and is one of Canada's iconic beers, and Coors Light, Canada's leading light beer. Both CSE and Molson Coors believe in the importance of giving back and supporting our communities, and we are excited to move forward together with this partnership."

Fans will be able to enjoy a Molson Canadian, Coors Light, Miller Light, along with Vizzy Hard Seltzer, Coors Seltzer, that can be found throughout the concourse at Rogers Arena and at Abbotsford Centre, home of the Canucks' American Hockey League affiliate.

"We're thrilled to reunite Molson Coors with Canucks Sports & Entertainment," said Chantalle Butler, President, Molson Coors Canada. "This partnership brings together two iconic companies, both deeply passionate about their identities and the communities they serve. It's an exciting opportunity to align with an organization and teams that mean so much to Canucks fans."

As mentioned, fans can begin purchasing Molson Coors products starting tomorrow when the Vancouver Canucks host the Seattle Kraken. Puck drop is set for 7 pm PT and can be viewed across Canada on Sportsnet Pacific and Sportsnet One.
