Some Vancouver Canucks fans in attendance at Rogers Arena last night began chanting J.T. Miller's name as the clock was ticking down in the third period.
It's been a little over two months since the Vancouver Canucks
traded forward J.T. Miller to the
New York Rangers and as we enter the final couple of weeks of the 2024-25 season, both teams continue to push for a playoff spot.
Vancouver, mathematically, are still in the playoff race in the Western Conference, while Miller and the New York Rangers are tied on points with the Montreal Canadiens for
the final wild card spot in the East.

The Vancouver Canucks welcomed their Pacific Northwest rivals,
the Seattle Kraken, to town on Wednesday night for the final meeting between the two teams this season.
Heading into the game, the Canucks' odds to make the Stanley Cup Playoff would've taken a big hit if they were to lose in regulation, dropping down to 2.2% and unfortunately, that's exactly what happened.
Kraken netminder
Joey Daccord stopped all 24 shots he faced, while former Canuck
Jared McCann picked up three assists as Seattle defeated Vancouver 5-0.
According to Noah Strang of Daily Hive, some fans in attendance at Rogers Arena randomly began chanting J.T. Miller's name towards the end of the third period.
"Some #Canucks fans in the lower bowl chanting "J-T Miller" as the clock winds down on this game." Strang said.
Some fans on social media also noticed this, one of whom was not very happy hearing the chants, calling them "embarrassing" and was mad at those who was participating.
"I'm truly not even mad at the canucks cause i'm mad at the fake ass fans booing them and chanting jt miller more, ITS EMBARRASSING IM SORRY BUT THAT IS EMBARRASSING TO CHANT. I yelled at the guy behind me chanting." @abby43210 on X said.
The Vancouver Canucks certainly could've used J.T. Miller last night, which is perhaps why those fans began chanting his name, as he has eight points in his last five games with the Rangers.
