Zadorov delivers his thoughts on the team's built and Demko's absence
While the Canucks will be without Thatcher Demko for Game 2 of the playoffs against the Predators, they're confident in their ability to get it done.
Nikita Zadorov spoke to the media on Tuesday afternoon and said that the Canucks feel good despite losing their starter and that they're built for the adversity of playoff hockey.
Our whole team, our mentality, is built for playoff hockey... that's what we're expecting from the guys every night, and that's what we've been showing in the first game so far,
The Canucks are certainly a big team that can keep up when the whistles go away, but as Zadorov noted to reporters, smaller players like Conor Garland play hard and are effective in the playoffs.
While they want to bring physicality, they must also be careful to stay out of their box as they await the return of their best penalty killer - Thatcher Demko.
