HOT NEWS: Canucks receiving call for a new player, one you're not expecting
The Rumors for trades possibilities in the Canucks environment are pouring as of late with the team struggling and showing up on the standings' last tier.
A new name just popped up in recent Rumors and it's not reassuring. It appears that teams have begun calling for the Canucks no. 1 Goaltender Thatcher Demko!
The Los Angeles Kings have recently demoted to the AHL Jonathan's Quick's presume replacement, Cal Petersen. It would make sense that they'd looking for someone to take off some workload on Quick, since the Kings will be battling for a Playoff Spot.
A second source has even stated that the netminder was drawing interest from other teams.
The goalie is currently out with an injury, but he's still young, carries a reasonable AAV and he showed he can take of his net although it's been tough so far this year.
Would you take the calls for Demko? If so what's a good enough return?
