LATEST | Flames about to go in a fire sale: Former Canuck on the block
Nothing has gone the Flames' way this year and with multiples contract coming to an end they might be headed straight to a fire sale. They've already begun a cleaning process as Nikita Zadorov has been acquired by the Canucks, but the reports suggest other trades might be happening out of Calgary.
FLAMES' STARS ON THEIR WAY OUT?
Noah Hanifin, Elias Lindholm and Chris Tanev have already found there into multiple trade discussions. It now appears that their Swede goaltender could be a target of interest as well.
The Flames aren't proposing the netminder around, but a good enough offer could have them considering the idea of shipping him away.
With two more years at a $6.0M cap hit, an important number of team should be looking at that possibility. The Hurricanes, the Devils and the Oilers are three teams that have been in talks regarding netminders.
