LATEST | Connor Bedard and Trevor Zegras called out by former NHLer after their Michigan goals
TWO MICHIGANS DURING THE SAME NIGHT?
The Michigan itself is a pretty special move. Connor Bedard became the first 18-year-old to pull it off, but only moments later, the Ducks' centerman Trevor Zegras pulled it off. It is the first night to feature not one but two Michigans. The Blackhawks, the Ducks and the NHL posted about to talk about it:
FORMER NHLer CALLING OUT THE MICHIGAN MOVE
The former NHLer Jay Rosehill took his opinion on this move to social media and iterated that the NHL would be looking into banning this move:
''They will ban the Michigan in the next 2 years.
#markmywords''
Rosehill's comments section read a really simple question on the fact that the NHL was trying to increase the scoring, how would it make sense to remove a move that's been catching the goaltenders off-guard? His response truly highlighted his thoughts and the propelling feeling he held toward this move:
''But not wanting to bring the circus to town''
Rosehill, an NHL veteran of 118 games, with 8 points and 352 penalty minutes in the resume seems to think that the NHL should prevent the players from developing skills.
