An insider believes there's a good chance that Vancouver Canucks forward Brock Boeser will leave the organization and sign with another club as a free agent.

Last month at the National Hockey League's trade deadline, Vancouver Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin raised raised some eyebrows when he said he didn't get any offers he liked on Brock Boeser, adding that the value just wasn't there.
Allvin later acknowledged later on that there's a possibility Brock Boeser leaves this summer and that's the risk you run by holding onto him in hopes of making the Stanley Cup Playoffs, which doesn't appear to be likely for the team at this point.

Frank Seravalli believes there's a good chance Brock Boeser leaves this summer

With free agency less than three months away, Frank Seravalli of Daily Faceoff took a look at the top-50 pending UFAs heading into the summer.
Vancouver Canucks forward Brock Boeser comes in at number 2 on Frank Seravalli's list, only behind Mitch Marner of the Toronto Maple Leafs, who is likely in for a big payday of his own on July 1st.
During Thursday's edition of Daily Faceoff Live, Seravalli said that of the player he has in his top-ten, Brock Boeser is the most likely to be wearing a different jersey in the fall, citing the drama from the trade deadline as a potential reason, but believes that a contract extension is still possible.
"Boeser. I think he's a really consistent goal scorer. I think the way that this has played out with the drama and the comments, he had been really loyal to Vancouver and they squandered some of that and put him in a spot where, his eyes were open to moving on anyway, and when that was said, I don't want to say it closed the door because anything is possible, but I think that made it more likely than not that he is moving on." Seravalli said.

Along with Brock Boeser, the Vancouver Canucks have Pius Suter and Derek Forbort as key UFAs, while Aatu Raty is set to become a restricted free agent.
Patrik Allvin will have just over $14 million to work with this summer, according to PuckPedia, so it's going to be a tight squeeze if they're going to try and get deals done for Boeser, Suter and Forbort, as well as Aatu Raty, who has a qualifying offer of $840,000.
