Tonight is a big night for not only the Vancouver Canucks, but the Edmonton Oilers as well. They're on home ice and need to win or else their season will be over.

With the Oilers in desperate need of the victory, it appears they'll be making some changes to their line-up and sitting out a veteran who has over 1,300 games of NHL experience.

According to Frank Seravalli of Daily Faceoff, the Edmonton Oilers will be making Corey Perry a healthy scratch and replacing him with another veteran - Adam Henrique. Meanwhile, the Oilers will also be making a change between the pipes, going back to Stuart Skinner after having Calvin Pickard start Games 4 and 5.

"We'll see what develops this morning, but the belief is these are the changes for #Oilers:

Stuart Skinner starts Game 6.

Adam Henrique in for Corey Perry.

Not written in sharpie, some things to sort out this morning." Seravalli said.

It'll be interesting to see if the Oilers make any other changes ahead of tonight's game or if these changes will make a difference compared to the line-up they went with in Game 4. While Corey Perry hasn't been much of a factor in the series, taking him out of the line-up could be considered a bit of a bold move given his experience.

We'll have to wait and see during warm-ups if the Oilers do indeed take Corey Perry out and start Stuart Skinner. Puck drop is set for 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET on Sportsnet and CBC. With a win, the Canucks will advance to the Western Conference Final for the first time since 2011.
