The Vancouver Canucks aren't done on the trade market as we approach the deadline, which is just over one week away.

While the Canucks likely won't be in the market for any big names, Patrik Allvin has his eyes on some depth options for the forward group.

According to Frank Seravalli of Daily Faceoff, the Canucks have been keeping close tabs on Minnesota Wild forward Brandon Duhaime, but it's unclear if he'll be moved due to the Wild being in the hunt for a playoff spot.

"Mentioned this on today's DFO Rundown pod, but worth a tweet: #Canucks  have been keeping close tabs on #mnwild  Brandon Duhaime.

It's no lock Duhaime is moved with MIN in playoff chase, but an intriguing piece on our Trade Targets board." Seravalli said.

Duhaime, a native of Parkland, Florida, is set to become a free agent at the conclusion of the 2023-24. In 58 games this season, he's put up six points (four goals, two assists), 64 penalty minutes and is a minus-eight.

It'll be interesting to see what Patrik Allvin does as we head towards the deadline. Depth-wise, the Canucks already have a potential option - Phil Kessel - who has been working out and practicing with Abbotsford. If they want him to be eligible for the Stanley Cup Playoffs, they'll need him to sign before 12 p.m. PT/3 p.m. ET on March 8th.
