LATEST | J.T. Miller takes a shot at 'certain' Vancouver media
J.T. Miller has been heavily criticized over the last years mainly due to the team's lack of success and to the fact that the team had just made him the highest paid player on the team. After inking a $56M extension prior to the 2022-2023 campaign, all eyes were turned on the team's number 9.
You know how the story goes, the team failed yet again to appear in the playoffs, Miller's body language spoke for itself, and despite everything, the feisty forward managed 82 points in 81 outings despite having a «down-season.»
Miller always had a rocky relationship with the media, especially since he's known for his ability to speak his mind. Earlier this week, he was on the Cam & Strick podcast and made quite the statement in that regard.
''It's not all of them but I just can't stand some of them. I think they know I feel that way so it's not really anything to hide.''
Miller gave a generous interview and stayed away from generic responses. While he took shots at some players in the mediatic sphere, Miller added that he loved the additional pressure coming from the hardcore fanbase and the media's presence.
While he may not have been as good as hoped last year, the American still managed an impressive 181 points in his last two seasons (161 games). Will this the year he breaks the 100-point mark?
