Canucks reveal an important change to Rogers Arena
The Vancouver Canucks have officially declared that the ice is back in Rogers Arena.
The Canucks are signaling the start of another thrilling hockey season. However, this time, the announcement on X has fans buzzing for more than just the return of hockey. A subtle yet significant change has been spotted at center ice-an updated Canucks logo design that marks a bold new chapter in the team's branding.
The new logo, while still staying true to the iconic Canucks identity, brings a fresh and more outgoing bold design to the forefront.
Here is an image of the old center ice logo:
This design change comes along with the Canucks announcing the third phase of its $150 million dollar plan to renovate Rogers Arena in march of this year.
«Last August, ownership committed to replacing all seats in the building, and we confirm that we are proceeding with that investment,» said Michael Doyle, President, Canucks Sports & Entertainment, Business Operations. «The project, which will begin when the hockey season is over, is something our members and fans have been requesting for some time, and we understand its importance. With our new seating and our new state-of-the-art videoboard installed, when you step into the Rogers Arena bowl, it will feel like you are in a new building."
