While a Brock Boeser trade doesn't seem likely even with the forward set to be an unrestricted free agent this summer, this Eastern Conference team could be a fit.
It could be a wild next two months for the Vancouver Canucks as they try to stay afloat in the Western Conference playoff picture, while also figuring out their strategy for the trade deadline in early March.
With rumors running rampant surrounding
J.T. Miller and
Elias Pettersson, they certainly won't be the only Canucks players that teams will call about, especially if the team finds themselves out of a playoff spot by the time the deadline rolls around.
One of those players that Patrik Allvin may receive calls about is pending unrestricted free agent forward Brock Boeser, who might be having a bit of a slower season than last year, but is still helping produce for the club.

"However, they might consider targeting Brock Boeser, who will be an unrestricted free agent after the season. Boeser's pending status has been overshadowed by the Miller-Pettersson saga, but Islanders general manager (GM) Lou Lamoriello should target him before the deadline as he checks a lot of boxes." Fink said.
Fink added that the Islanders are seeking a top-six forward who can score and that's exactly what Brock Boeser would bring to the team.
As for what the Vancouver Canucks could get in return for Brock Boeser, one option could be centerman
Brock Nelson, who is coming off three consecutive seasons with 34+ goals.
We all know the Canucks are looking for an upgrade on the blue line and while
Noah Dobson is almost certainly out of the question for Patrik Allvin, another option Fink points out is Russian defenseman
Alexander Romanov.
Romanov, 25, is set to become a restricted free agent following the 2024-25 season and is arbitration eligible and would be a solid addition to the Canucks' defensive group.
With 55 days remaining until the National Hockey League's trade deadline, rumours will continue to pop up regarding the Vancouver Canucks and it's going to be interesting to see what this roster looks like after 12 pm PT on Friday, March 7th.
