"My guess is and you saw Thursday's game. Everybody was frustrated. I just wonder if after that game it reached a point where the Canucks said 'we've got to do this now'." Friedman said when asked why things intensified over the weekend regarding Miller.
He went on to add, "What's true today might not be true tomorrow. All I can tell you at this point in time was sometime Friday or Saturday, I think the Canucks and the player thought he was going to the Rangers. It didn't happen. That is why some people are like, we don't like to tell you anything until it is done because things can happen. In this particular case, something happened. Yesterday I woke up, I checked, everybody was telling me nothing imminent. Last night, before recorded the pod, I checked, people were telling me there's nothing imminent. I haven't heard anything today. But you know, this blows hot and cold."
