With their win last night against the Ottawa Senators on their current 6 game road trip, they have now improved their road record to an impeccable 9-2-0.
The whole month of November has been filled with up and down for the Canucks.
With big absences from J.T. Miller, Derek Forbort, Brick Boeser and now Filip Hronek, the Canucks have still been able to achieve an 8-5-0 record in November.
If it were not for their issues playing at home at Rogers arena, the record would be a lot worse. 6 of the 8 wins for the Nucks have come on the road where they are a stellar 9-2-0 on the season.
On the season the Canucks are now 12-7-3 for 27 points, which is good for being first in the Western Conference Wildcard.
There are many Vancouver Canucks that could have be chosen for the three stars, but there are a few that have earned it more than the others.
3rd Star: Quinn Hughes
Quinn Hughes could have easily grabbed the top spot in this ranking as he has been his normal, superstar self.
Coming off his Norris winning season, Hughes is now only 1 assist away from holding the Canucks all-time record for assists, passing Alex Edler.
In 13 games in November he scored 3 goals and 14 assists for 17 points in 13 games, which bring his totals now to 5 goals and 20 assists for 25 points.
2nd Star: Conor Garland
The biggest game changer not being a goalie has been Conor Garland. In the month of November he continued his dominant season scoring another 5 goals and 9 assists for 14 points.
With this big month, he is now on pace for his highest totals ever in his career. Now with 8 goals and 21 points in 22 games, he has the chance to become a bonified star, on pace for 30 goals and 78 points.
Even with out his offensive prowess, his physicality, grit, and defensive abilities have added a lot more to the success of the Canucks.
1st Star: Kevin Lankinen
To begin the season, Kevin Lankinen has been by far the most valuable player for the Vancouver Canucks. But, the month of November has been a little less consistent, mixing in some great stars and some not so stellar.
Regardless, Lankinen deserves the number 1 spot. With out him, and Demko being out, the Canucks would not be even close to playoff contention with out his presence in between the pipes.
He Secured his 9th win on the road against the Sabres on Friday and now sits a perfect 9-0-0 away from Rogers Arena. His tatistics are inbelible as he's acheived a logging 1.77 goals-against average (GAA), .938 save percentage (SV%) and two shutouts.
