Vancouver Canucks fans are no stranger to trade rumors surrounding their team, including their biggest stars and with how aggressive General Manager Patrik Allvin likes to be on the market, it seems like nothing is off the table.
Last weekend, Sportsnet insider Elliotte Friedman revealed that the Canucks are exploring the market for both Elias Pettersson and J.T. Miller following reports that the two are in a rift.
There's no question that Elias Pettersson and J.T. Miller would be the biggest names on the trade market this season and TSN appears to agree with that, putting them tied for first on their Trade Bait list.
Elias Pettersson and J.T. Miller aren't the only Vancouver Canucks mentioned on TSN's Trade Bait list as Swedish forward Nils Hoglander comes in at 29th.
Hoglander's name has been mentioned in trade rumors quite a bit earlier in the season after he saw a significant drop in ice time, along with poor performances.
In late November, Kevin Weekes of ESPN reported that a trio of Metropolitan Division teams were interested in Nils Hoglander, those being the Columbus Blue Jackets, Pittsburgh Penguins and Washington Capitals.
The National Hockey League's 2024-25 trade deadline is just 55 days away and it's shaping up to be quite a big one for the Patrik Allvin and the Vancouver Canucks and it's going to be interesting to see which direction they go.
