Vancouver Canucks Announce Starting Goalie & Make Significant Lineup Changes Ahead of Matchup with Anaheim
With the Vancouver Canucks getting back into the win column against the San Jose Sharks on Saturday, they look to repeat their last performance this evening against the Anaheim Ducks in their second of 3 game California road trip.
The Canucks are coming off a big, But close, 3-2 win over the Sharks with a massive 2 goal game performance from 4th liner Pius Suter. As a result, head coach Rick Tocchet has made some significant changes to the lineup as seen today at pre-game practice.

Vancouver Canucks announce starting goalie and projected lineup for matchup against the Anaheim Ducks
It was announced today that Arshdeep Bains would be heading down to the AHL Abbottsford Canucks for the purpose of calling-up top prospect center Aatu Raty. Head coach Rick Tocchet discussed the importance of giving young players a chance.
"I think it's okay to give them chunks at certain levels. Hopefully they grab a hold of it, but if not, they get a taste. They know what they have to do next time they come up."
At Canucks morning practice today, Kevin Lankinen was seen being the first goalie off the ice, which in every case this season, indicates that the team is going back to him tonight, especially after the struggles of Arturs Silovs to start the season. After practice, it was announced that they would in fact be giving the nod once again to the hot hand goalie.
The biggest changes to the lineup, as seen at practice is that Pius Suter will be moving up to the second line to play with Elias Pettersson and Conor Garland, while today's call-up and top prospect Aatu Raty will be slotted in on the 4th line.

One important thing to note is that Dakota Joshua was not seen on the ice today rotating with the normal lines as an extra skater, meaning we will have to wait at least one more game until he fans see him back in the lineup.
Derek Forbort will not be available to suit up for tonight's contest as he left practice early yesterday with a lower body injury.
