Vancouver Canucks Head Coach Rick Tocchet Gives Thatcher Demko Another Crack at the Seattle Kraken
As the Vancouver Canucks look to get back in the win column tonight in their second matchup of the 8-game road trip, head coach Rick Tocchet announced which of his goalies will be starting in net tonight.
Facing off against the Seattle Kraken tonight, it will be a full on rematch as they first game clearly didn't go the Canucks way.
After dominating the game for 55 minutes, the Canucks suffered one of the worst collapses in recent memory as the Kraken came back from a 4-1 deficit with less than 5 minutes remaining.
After losing to the Kraken, and then having Kevin Lankinen start against the Calgary Flames where they also suffered a big loss, head coach head coach Rick Tocchet is going back to Thatcher Demko tonight in order to try and get one back from the team that handed them a major overtime collapse.
Even though the Krakne are not top dogs in the West, Tonight will be the third consecutive game without superstars captain Quinn Hughes and Elias Pettersson, who are currently sidelined with undisclosed injuries, that the team refuses to comment on.
