Vancouver Canucks' Jim Rutherford and Patrik Allvin make questionable comments about their trade strategy
Despite the constant trade rumors, JT Miller is still a member of the Vancouver Canucks, but that is not with out upper management tying.
Due to Millers age, contract and lack of production during this season, it is making it a lot harder to move him than previously expected.
But the fact of the matter is, fans are getting fed up with the drama and want this all to be settled, but feel that Allvin and Rutherford are dropping the ball while major blockbuster trades are happening around them.
Their cause has not been helped with recent comments made by Rutherford to Thomas Drance of the Athletic.
«Canucks president of hockey operations Jim Rutherford and general manager Patrik Allvin prefer to be proactive and decisive,» Thomas Drance of The Athletic wrote. «In fact, the club views dealing at high volume as a competitive edge. It's a philosophical tenant of how they want to go about their business.»
It means that he feels that the management of the Canucks believe in making moves and trades often and quickly instead waiting for other teams to come to them.
Their plan is to take the initiative to make upgrades to their team, but it is quite literally the exact opposite of reality, and fans are sick of it.
It takes a lot of courage to come out and tell a blatant lies to the media, but it is assumed that he 100% believes in what he says.
