With this being, what is likely, the most anticipated off-season for Canucks fans in recent memory, we are excited to present a bit of an introduction to, what we believe, will be another exciting season for our most Western Canadian team the Vancouver Canucks!

There will be so many stories to follow along with this season, and we are thrilled to be able to contribute to the fanfare. Whether it is following J.T. Miller and how he will follow up his most successful season, not JUST in a Canucks jersey, but his most successful statistical season of his career, or how one of the most highly touted off-season acquisitions in Jake DeBrusk could be the winger that captain Petterson has been searching for we will have you covered, in as much detail as possible, throughout the upcoming season.

The addition of Vincent Desharnais at $2M per season to potentially play on the bottom pairing for the Canucks, has been received as a «meh» ki"d o" deal for fans. It will be exciting to see how this deal pans out for Vancouver as they looked to add more physicality and an «on-ice» presence"e to their roster. Desharnais will likely be somewhere close to the top of the team's stat list when it comes to hits and blocks this season if he can be the same menace he was for the Canucks, as he was for Edmonton last season before his injury. He gained precious experience in only being two shots away from a Stanley Cup victory for the Oilers last season something the Canucks do not have a ton of in their locker room. His experience and how this guy plays the game excite me to see how he fits into the puzzle.

With the Canucks not having a first or second round draft pick in the 2024 draft, it was difficult to see how or if they could hit any homeruns, with their first pick coming only in the 3rd round. However, TSN gave them a B+ rating by the end of the draft. This has much to do with their draft choice of Swedish winger Melvin Fernström. According to Todd Harvey, the team's Director of Scouting, Fernström has a high hockey IQ. This IQ would have seen him go either late 1st or an early 2nd round selection by any other team if it was paired with the same level of skating. The Canucks will be looking to develop this young kid into a far superior skater than what he is now during his time at camp. If this kid idolizes the Leaf's speedy winger, William Nylander, he will have to appreciate and get better at how fast Willy can go and how he lets the game come to him.

In conclusion, there will be a lot to discuss. There will be a lot to follow, and we hope you will take this wild ride with us during the upcoming season. It's excIt'sg to be a Canucks fan again! Make sure to give us a «Like» a"d «F"allow» on all"our socials so you can stay in the «know» when it" comes to your previous Pacific Division Champions!
