LATEST | Brad Marchand looking at a suspension after a nasty elbow to the head
The Los Angeles Kings were meeting with the Boston Bruins for an afternoon tilt in Boston. Two of the league's top teams disputed an extremely tight game. The emotions were at their highest when Brad Marchand launched a questionable hit on the Kings' forward Viktor Arvidsson.
While it isn't out of character for Marchand, he always finds new ways to get himself into the headlines:
MARCHAND TO MEET WITH THE NHL'S SAFETY DEPARTMENT
The Bruins' pest and captain is already known in the NHL for his history with the NHL's DPOS. Following its verdict on Nikita Zadorov's hit worthy of a two-game suspension, it would be shocking to see this hit go unpunished.
Despite being 35, Marchand remains one of the Bruins' most productive players. The Canadian winger shows 25 goals and 25 assists 54 games into the season.
