BREAKING | Major change out of Calgary
The Flames had built quite the competitive line-up and there hopes had grown accordingly.
There had been rumblings going around that some players weren't willing to go back to the Flames if Darryl Sutter, the team's head coach was still in place.
Confirmed by Pierre Lebrun, Sutter will be replaced.
Sutter still has two years to his contract and which earns him an annual $4M. The Flames have not yet released a statement on the matter, but expect to hear more soon about his replacement. They'll have more then one head coach on the payroll, taking a page out of the Canucks playbook.
