BREAKING | One of the NHL's top goaltender's wife confirms his retirement
Montreal Canadiens star goaltender Carey Price has been out of work for quite a while now. Lots of fans have been wondering if or even when he was going to hang his skates, and it seems that we've gotten to that point.
Angela, Carey's wife, had a Q&A with the fans concerning the Canadiens' goaltender and confirmed the worst possible news for the Habs and the NHL. A fan asked whether or not they were going to be back in Montreal next year and the response says it all :
"It looks like we will be making the move to Kelowna after this hockey season, when Liv finishes school."
She was then asked whether or not they intended on selling their house in Montreal :
"Yes we will. It's going to be hard to say goodbye to this house and especially our neighbors."
Everything lines up, it seems like Carey Price has played his last NHL game, as they plan on moving back to Kelowna full-time.
Not only is it a terrible news for the Canadiens, but the NHL as well. Price has been guarding the net in professional levels since 2007. It looks like he's now taking the next step in his career and taking more time for his family.
