Boudreau's decision in OT last night is causing quite the consternation
The Canucks got the win last night in another crazy game ending in OT. They're now back at the 0.500 plateau. Only one point short of a playoff spot.
Though, head coach Bruce Boudreau made quite the call in last night's OT win. The Canucks all-star player J.T. Miller didn't touch the ice in the extra period. Miller's been renowned for his prowess in the 4th period, but it's his play in regulation that has been a major concern as of late.
Is Boudreau loosing confidence in Miller? Did Boudreau send a wake up call?
Boudreau's been critized in the past for not benching the team's star players, but it looks like he got the message. It turned out good for him since Elias Pettersson sealed the deal with another OT winner in back to back games.
We'll see during the team's next meeting how Miller responds!
