LATEST | Connor Bedard makes history with multi-point night
The Vancouver Native has been nothing short of impressive since he gave his first strides in the NHL. Connor Bedard was the latest first overall pick and tonight, he showed why against one of the league's top team.
ALREADY MAKING BLACKHAWKS HISTORY
Bedard had a stellar performance in the Hawks' 5-3 win to the Lightning. The 18-year-old collected two goals and two assists bringing his total up to seven goals and 11 points in 12 games.
That wasn't it, tonight, Bedard became the youngest Blackhawk to ever register a multi goal game. In a team where one of, if not the best ever American forward Patrik Kane performed as an 18-year-old.
Obviously, this doesn't begin to cover the records Bedard is bound to break. With 7 tallies in 12 games, the youngster in on pace for 48 goals which would be one of the best totals we've seen in ages from a rookie.
