In those 91 career NHL games, Smith put up 25 points (12 goals, 13 assists), 58 penalty minutes and was a plus-one.
This past season, Smith set a new career-high in points in the American Hockey League, where he split time with the Syracuse Crunch and Henderson Silver Knights. In 54 games, he recorded 53 points (18 goals, 35 assists), 145 penalty minutes and was a plus-nine.
