Andrei Kuzmenko drops a bold statement regarding his linemate Elias Pettersson
Andrei Kuzmenko joined the Canucks last season as a first-year NHLer. The Russian sniper entered the league as if he had been there forever and exceeded every goal and expectation. Along the way, he created a chemistry with another Canucks' superstar in Elias Pettersson, and they've been one of the NHL's top offensive duo ever since.
KUZMENKO TALKS ABOUT HIS LINEMATE'S IMPACT
Kuzmenko had a hot start to his NHL career, but Pettersson gave quite the show. At this point, everybody knows that he gathered an outstanding 102 points and was even recognized as one of the league's top two-way players. Without a doubt, Kuzmenko has grown quite fond of him in an interview earlier today; he even gasped that he believed Pettersson to be the best centreman in the league.
"Elias [Pettersson] is a great centreman, I think it is [the] best centreman in the league."

After an entire season of playing the Connor McDavids and the Nathan Mackinnons of the Western Conference, Kuzmenko still believes that Pettersson is the league's top centerman. At the time being, it is thought that the dynamic duo will be reunited as they've been skating together, joined by Nils Hoglander since the beginning of training camp.
Pettersson remains young at 24 years old, and he has yet to enter his prime years; with that in mind, do you think he could ever be considered as the league's top centerman in the years to come? Over McDavid and MacKinnon?
