INJURY UPDATE | Unexpected development regarding Ilya Mikheyev: His agent raises concern

''Ilya is doing great," Milstein said. "He is the hardest working guy in the business or one of them. He arrived back to Vancouver last week. He is in great spirits. He's skating. He's working hard. He had a meeting with the doctors in the US that have operated on him and we expect a full recovery and hopefully he'll be ready before the start of the season."



That last sentence generated quite the interrogation amongst the fans. The word ''hopefully'' made an appearance and before yesterday'a talk Milstein never implied that Mikheyev wouldn't fully recovered when came training camp.

One of Allvin's first signing, Mikheyev came to Vancouver and caused a surprise. His versatility and fast-paced game really matched Elias Pettersson and Andrei Kuzmenko's energy instantly making them one of the league's best line. The forward collected 28 points in 46 outings last season and his return is very much anticipated.
