LATEST | An announcement regarding Thatcher Demko has been made
We're nearly one week away from the release of EA Sports NHL 24 and on Wednesday, they continued to share their player rankings, this time focusing on the goaltenders.
In their top-ten list, Electronic Arts had Vancouver Canucks'
Thatcher Demko as the 9th-best goaltender in the National Hockey League and will begin NHL 24 with a rating of 87 overall, which is a bit of a drop from NHL 23.
Last year, ahead of the release of NHL 23, Thatcher Demko was ranked as the 6th-best goaltender in the video game and had a rating of 89 overall.
It's a bit surprising to see Demko drop down from 89 to 87, especially after the way he finished the 2022-23 season. After he returned from injury in late-February, Demko appeared in 17 games where he sported a record of 11-4-2 with one shutout.
EA Sports NHL 24 is set to be released on Friday, October 6th on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
Do you think Thatcher Demko should be rated higher than 87 overall? Let us know what you think in the poll below!
