LATEST | Canucks and the Islanders to reconnect for a blockbuster trade? Potential fit for both team's needs
Andrei Kuzmenko is set to be scratched for the fifth time this season and now back-to-back games tonight as the Canucks take on the Dallas Stars to wrap up their road trip.
In recent weeks, Kuzmenko's name has popped up in trade rumours with the 27-year-old being linked to the Washington Capitals, while other teams have also inquired about his availability.
On 'The Jeff Marek Show' on Thursday, Sportsnet insider Elliotte Friedman and Jeff Marek discussed Andrei Kuzmenko's situation in Vancouver and mentioned that the New York Islanders would make a lot of sense as a potential landing spot as his agent, Dan Milstein, has clients there.
"Marek and Elliotte talking about how Isles would make sense for Kuzmenko.
Elliotte mentions Canucks AGM Dan Milstein has a few clients on the Isles as well.
Not a report, just speculation.
