LATEST | Canucks announce last-minute press conference involving the team's president
Now that the Canucks Rookie Tournament has ended, we're only days away from the official training camp debut. Things are starting on Thursday, and the team announced a special press conference.
The news broke on Twitter (X) that three team representatives would take a stand. Patrik Allvin and Rick Tocchet will be joined by a special guest Jim Rutherford who hasn't taken part in any press conference since he announced the Canucks needed 'major surgery'':
'The #Canucks are holding a pre-training camp press conference at 11 am tomorrow. President of Hockey Operations Jim Rutherford, GM Patrik Allvin & Head Coach Rick Tocchet will be speaking.''
Now that the announcement has come through, the team's upper management will most likely discuss the team's newest acquisition, Casey DeSmith, along with Tanner Pearson's departure. Stay tuned for more tomorrow at 11AM
