With the Canucks' break nearing an end, the boys are getting prepared to step back on the ice for the last stretch of the season. The Canucks will be setting foot on the ice for the first time with their newcomer Elias Lindholm this week as they prepare for their first game scheduled on Tuesday against the Caroline Hurricanes.

CANUCKS TO ADD TO THEIR ROSTER?

The official announcement just came through, Patrik Allvin has announce that Linus Karlsson has been called out to the NHL. After the Swede skated in a few AHL games, he'll most likely suit up for a few practices and might be getting a few looks as the Canucks head on a lengthy road trip.

General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that F Linus Karlsson has been recalled from Abbotsford (AHL).

Despite being called up and sent down numerous times since the season started, Karlsson only suited up for 4 NHL games and has yet to register a point. In Abbotsford, the winger has managed 27 points through 30 games, placing him at the team's second rank in points production.
