LATEST | J.T. Miller makes franchise history: NHL issues a statement
Ever since the Canucks acquired J.T. Miller, the forward has been a force to be reckoned with. Miller has been doing it all and yesterday was no exception.
MILLER MAKES TEAM HISTORY
Miller scored his 15th on the season and tied the franchise record for the fewest amount of games to reach 40 points. Record previously held by Tony Tanti:
'J.T. Miller (15-2540 in 28 GP) put the @Canucks up 3-1 and matched the franchise mark for fewest games to 40 points in a season, set by Tony Tanti (28 GP in 1983-84).''
The Canucks' number 9 now has 15 goals and 25 assists on the season which places him on the second seeding amongst all skaters for points. The Russian machine, Nikita Kucherov leads the NHL with 47 points.
