LATEST | Nikita Zadorov opens up on the trade: Promising comments on his intentions
The newest Vancouver Canuck is raring to start with his new team.
Nikita Zadorov completed a Q&A with Canucks beat writer Chris Faber, sharing his excitement in joining the Canucks.
Zadorov sounds as though he'll be right at home coming over to Vancouver.
It's a great team,
Zadorov said.
It's like five to eight guys that I know on the team so hopefully that will be an easy transition for me.
Zadorov specifically commended the play of Quinn Hughes, Elias Pettersson, JT Miller, Brock Boeser, and Thatcher Demko, and also highlighted the team's coaching staff.
The defenceman said he would be an added ingredient to an already great recipe.
I'm here to help, I'm an added piece to a great team.
Zadorov also says he was a Canucks fan as a kid thanks to Markus Naslund and the Sedin twins.
The blueliner will debut with the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday night after being acquired from the Calgary Flames
His first game will be against his former club.
