LATEST | Tom Willander given big promotion: Accrued responsabilities signs of a good development
Vancouver Canucks prospect Tom Willander got a very big promotion on Friday night ahead of Boston University's game.
Boston University head coach Jay Pandolfo decided to put Willander on the team's first pairing alongside Montreal Canadiens top prospect Lane Hutson.

Willander, 18, has appeared in 14 games for Boston University this season, putting up seven points (two goals, five assists), four penalty minutes and is a plus-ten.
His play so far this season should certainly catch the attention of Sweden's management group for the 2024 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship and it'll be interesting to see if Willander is named to their final roster for the tournament, which is on home ice in Gothenburg.
