MAJOR | NHL makes an announcement regarding Elias Pettersson
The Canucks delivered an exciting piece of hockey against the Panthers, but they ended up collecting the two points at this moment, stopping their losing streak at two.
PETTERSSON PUTTING ON A SHOW
Once again, all eyes were turned to the team's superstar Elias Pettersson. The centerman was bound to break records, and he did. Along the way, he got up to the first rank in League scoring, tying Jack Hughes for 10 points in 5 games.
The NHL stated in regard to the Swede's outstanding tenure thus far this season:
'Elias Pettersson assisted on Quinn Hughes' first goal to improve his season totals to 1-89 (5 GP). Should he find the score sheet one more time tonight, he will become the sixth player in franchise history to reach the 10-point mark in five games or less''
Pettersson has constantly been lighting it up, and hopefully, for him and the Canucks, it carries on to the next game meant to take place on Tuesday against the Nashville Predators.
