BREAKING | Canucks make heartbreaking announcement: Historical player passed away
The Canucks made a heartbreaking announcement earlier this afternoon. The team announced through their Alumni X account that the legendary Dunc Wilson had passed away.
'Dunc Wilson, who registered Vancouver's first-ever shutout in Canucks' NHL history, has passed away at the age of 75 in Utila, Honduras where he had been living for many years.
Condolences to the family and friends of Dunc 💙''
Member of the inaugural Canucks team that joined the NHL in 1970, Wilson guarded NHL nets on 287 occasions throughout 10 seasons. He was a member of the Canucks for their first three years of existence.
We wish to send our deepest condolences to the family. May he rest in peace.
