Few Canucks players endeared themselves to fans the way Nikita Zadorov did in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and his bank account might thank him for that.

Zadorov proved his worth in the playoffs and became a fan favourite both on and off the ice, and both sides are reportedly interested in extending their relationship.
Elliotte Friedman said on the 32 Thoughts podcast that the Canucks know what Zadorov wants, and they're not crazy about the term.
There will also be no shortage of suitors for Zadorov, especially after his strong play in the playoffs.
Friedman said after they moved on from Ryan McDonagh this week, he wouldn't be shocked to see the Canucks' first-round opponent sniff around on the big Russian D-man.
This opens up a hole in their blue line, and I can't help but wonder about a guy like Zadorov.

Friedman said that Nashville Predators GM Barry Trotz discussed how the Predators need to be more physical and said Trotz would be looking for "trees" like Zadorov. With the absence of McDonagh, they'll need another mean defender.
There will be no shortage of interest in Big Z if the Canucks let him walk to free agency.
