Canucks to find cheaper alternative to Zadorov in order to afford Guentzel?

With the contract the Canucks gave Filip Hronek, Elias Pettersson, and Oliver Ekman-Larsson's buyout, Patrik Allvin has lots to do and not a lot to work with if he wants to make it all happen.
Allvin has high-end targets on his mind, but the budget may not be there. The former Canuck, now analyst Frank Corrado, was on Sekeres and Price and addressed the Canucks' off-season strategy and their pursuit of one of the market's top winger in Jake Guentzel.
"Who is the poor man's version of Nikita Zadorov? Is it Joel Edmundson? Brenden Dillon? The big D-man Rick Tocchet wants. Put more money in the gifted goalscorer...find a value deal in the big, rugged defenceman."
