Drew O'Connor Shares First Impressions on 'Rumored" Vancouver Canucks Locker Room

Newest forward Drew O'Connor has commented on his first impressions of being apart of the Vancouver Canucks locker room that was rumored to have some issues.
A few weeks back, the Vancouver Canucks made the decision to trade a 1st-round pick, Vincent Desharnais and Danton Heinen to the Pittsburgh Penguins for defenseman Marcus Pettersson and forward Drew O'Connor in order to shake up their roster to make a run for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Drew O'Connor details first impressions of joining the Vancouver Canucks
While the Vancouver Canucks are on break due to the 4 Nations Face-Off, one of the newest members of the team has spoke about the locker room that has caused so many head lines and attentions all season long.
"There was a lot of stuff out there. We would see some of the reports and things like that going around. You know, you never really know what's true and what's not being on the outside. Being here, I can say everyone in here has been awesome to deal with so far. The guys are great. I can't really speak to what was going on before I was here, but it's been an awesome room to be in so far."
Despite only playing a few games with the team, it is already looking like O'Connor and Pettersson already seem to be fitting in great.
Now that J.T. Miller is gone, the locker room appears to be in normal working order with no issues being released since the trade.
O'Connor went on to describe his day when he found out he was traded, saying he was getting ready to sleep when he got a call from Dubas.
"They had had a car service waiting for us. Brought us over to the arena, where we dropped our bags off and then went over to the hotel. Came in early the next day, got a little skate in, met everybody, got our gear situated and all that. Had a five o'clock game that day. It's nice to get the first game out of the way quick and get to know all the guys. Only been here a few days now, but it's been good so far."
It is good for Canucks fans to know that all is well with the roster and O'Connor only had amazing things to say about the team, coaches and his future with the team.
