Former Vancouver Canucks head coach Bruce Boudreau has come out to shed some important light on the rocky relationship that is brewing between J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson.

The drama between Miller and Pettersson has been well documented, but it seems that their relationship is growing more thin as each day goes on.

The speculation between the two started to come back to the surface when head coach Rick Tocchet decided to separate them on the powerplay and overtime, sparking rumors that they can't even play with one another.

«It's just something we've all talked about, Millsy and the other unit knew what was going on so there was nothing to that,» said Tocchet.

The consensus if this drama is due to the spinning of media, or if it is actually reality is still debated, but Canucks reporter Rick Dhaliwal made it abundantly clear that this is not something just made up by the media.

"This isn't a media fabrication.."

Ex-Canucks head coach Bruce Boudreau comments on J.T. Miller & Elias Pettersson's relationship

With all the speculation, former Vancouver Canucks head coach Bruce Boudreau has decided to give his perspective of the two players relationship when he was the man making the shots.

«The easy [thing] would be to say yes, it is a problem and I knew they had a little bit of a problem between them before I got there but I thought that was all straightened out,» said Boudreau on TSN's OverDrive.

He continued to say that he does not want to get in the middle of it as he has a great relationship with both Miller and Pettersson.

«I'm hoping that it's not a situation. I haven't phoned anybody and I don't want to. People have been asking me to phone and get the nitty-gritty going here. I don't want to phone and I don't want to find out whether they're having a problem with each other because I think they're both great players.»

«It shouldn't be happening. I'm one of those guys that wants to dig my head in the sand right now and not know if they hate each other I like both the guys a lot and I don't want to see one's being a real butthead to the other one.»
