The Canucks held their own in game four and came back during the third period. As the game went to its very last minute, the Oilers buckled down and pushed for a late third-period opportunity, and Evan Bouchard eventually scored the game-winning goal.

During his post-game interview, one of the Canucks' leaders J.T. Miller was absolutely rattled by the Oilers' goal and took the blame for letting that pass go by:

«I'm pretty upset with myself at the moment. That was a pretty big play at the end of the game there. That pass should've never got to Bouchard.»

JT Miller was not happy with his end-of-game play.

The accountability not only speaks the words of a true leader but also those of an experienced veteran who is getting a better sense of what it takes to make it to the top.

Tocchet revealed today that Miller even went as far as texting him to apologize for his poor play during game 4. The team's head coach shared the conversation:

«It's an honest group. I mean, J.T. Miller texted me today, 'Sorry, I had a bad (game).'

«This guy's been unreal for me. One play, two plays don't define (it). Who cares about that? That game is over. He's been a monster force, he'll be a monster for us. That's the way we work around here''

In his 8th NHL playoffs appearance and 2nd as a Canuck, Miller has amassed 11 points through 10 games while being an absolute force on the ice's 200th foot. Alongside Brock Boeser, they've been dominant in the offensive zone, perhaps placing Elias Pettersson on their left reuniting the Lotto Line would help everyone in game 5?
