Earlier this week, the National Hockey League revealed the Vancouver Canucks' Quarter Century Team, which featured their best 12 players (six forwards, four defensemen and two goaltenders) since the year 2000.
For those that may have missed it, the Canucks' first Quarter Century Team featured Daniel Sedin, Henrik Sedin, Markus Naslund, Quinn Hughes, Alexander Edler and Roberto Luongo.
Meanwhile, the second team had Elias Pettersson, J.T. Miller, Ryan Kesler, Kevin Bieksa, Mattias Ohlund and in between the pipes - Thatcher Demko.
All 12 players that were named to the Vancouver Canucks' Quarter Century Teams were worthy of their inclusion and have played a big role in the team's success on the ice over the last 25 years.
Kevin Bieksa took to social media to comment on being named to Vancouver's second team and made a pretty funny joke when realizing he'd be with J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson.
In a post on his Instagram story on Tuesday, Kevin Bieksa joked that his team would beat the Canucks' first team in a game if they didn't kill each other first at practice.
There's plenty of drama surrounding two players on that second team - J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson, as the Canucks have reportedly tested the trade market for both players following reports of a rift.
Drama aside, it would be pretty interesting to see a game between these two Vancouver Canucks Quarter Century Teams, but it's safe to say the second team would have their hands full trying to defend against the Sedin twins and Quinn Hughes.
