Kiefer Sherwood has become an absolute fan favorite with the Vancouver Canucks fans, and the crowd chanting his name last night solidified the impact he has already made on the organization.

The Vancouver Canucks beat the Colorado Avalanche last night 3-1 with a "little" help from Kiefer Sherwood, who recorded his first career NHL hat-trick and scored every goal for his team.

Sherwood scored all three Canucks goals, netting a natural hat trick in what has been a magnificent start to the season. He got his first goal of the night at even strength, his second shorthanded, and his last into an empty net. - Noah Strang

When the Vancouver Canucks signed Kiefer Sherwood to a two-year deal worth just $1.5 million annually, no one would be able to expect the type of impact he would generate in this short of time.

With 11 goals on the season in just 30 games, Sherwood has already surpassed his previous career best in goals and is just 11 points away from smashing his single-season point total (27).

«We're humble guys I was just trying to take it in, have the whole arena [chanting your name], that's something you dream of as a kid. Those are the moments you work for and just manifest and visualize. I'm really thankful and grateful for them.»

The Canucks clearly made one of the biggest steals of the offseason by picking him up off the Nashville Predators, and fans are thanking Patrik Allvin every single day.
