At the NHL All Star Game, Brock Boeser sat down for an interview with the Spittin Chiclets podcast - an interview that was released this week.
Boeser discussed why he's been able to post a career season after several down years, and also touched on the impact Rick Tocchet has had on the roster in his first full season with the team.
Boeser said the team's head coach sets the standard and treats everybody on the team as equals.
We didn't really have a standard to kind of base our game off of,
Boeser said. He's always the first guy on the ice, he works with every single guy whoever it is. He doesn't care where you are in the lineup.
The Canucks bench boss has been leading the team to one of its best seasons in franchise history, and he's getting buy in up and down the lineup.
With several Canucks on pace for career best seasons, it's clear that Tocchet is having an impact on his players.
