LATEST | The verdict is in regarding Elias Lindholm: Canucks have made their choice?
The Vancouver Canucks acquired Elias Lindholm from Calgary earlier this season in exchange for Andrei Kuzmenko among other pieces. In approximately one month since the trade, Lindholm has appeared in 14 games in a Canucks uniform. Of those games, he has points in just four of them.
He has recently been skating on the third line, and has been held off the scoresheet in six consecutive games. Additionally, recent rumblings have suggested that Lindholm may even be expendable as early as this season's trade deadline, should the team attempt to pull off an even bigger move.
However, Rick Dhaliwhal reported that despite his struggles, Lindholm would not be flipped at the deadline and would remain a Canuck at least for the remainder of this season.
They're okay with him being a rental.
